This is what we're bringing to market; sustainable apparel made in the Americas with an eye
for fashion and quality. Over the years, we have watched the companies with integrity grow and the sweatshop free manufacturers flourish. We constantly scour the market and know what’s out there and will continue to do so, bringing our customers the best apparel from the most reputable sources. We have hand picked some of the finest sustainable apparel and accessories available.

To begin with, some of our garments will come with numbers on them so that you, the end user, can know everything about them, from seeds to shirts, carbon foot print to you: you will simply go to a website called “TrackMyT” (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSgnj8aVESM)and enter the number on your garment. We will "encourage" all the manufacturers represented in this Webstore to practice the same transparent methods.

While many of our organic cotton shirts will contain 100% organic cotton, some will not. However those that will not will be very fashionable garments made in fair trade conditions with "some" sustainable fabric to them: a step in the right direction. In fact, we will carry some apparel that is not yet even certified organic! One of our companies is helping farmers who want to bring certification to their fields but can't afford the three years wait to become certified: this is call "transitional cotton" and certain manufacturers have shown their support by committing to buy this transitional goods: bravo. The point is, whether it's 100% organic cotton or plastic bottles recycled into t-shirts or bags, you will have great choices to choose from and proudly wear.

WHERE WILL IT COME FROM?

In this past decade it has become apparent that if the United States is going to continue to be a factor and hold an esteemed position in the world; if we are going to compete with the Asian market and the European block, we will have to partner up, and become more active and better partners with our neighbors here in the Americas. As our small company experienced its own challenges with our all USA brand, we became involved in the birth of an event called the Biennial of the Americas (biennialoftheamericas.org). I urge you to log onto the Biennial of Americas website to see what I'm talking about: from the culture, the art, the agriculture, the economic development, thefuture, the 35 countries of the Americas will come together in a historic inaugural event in July 2010. We are proud to be involved with the inaugural Biennial. Although our company started out with an all USA T-Shirt (and we will still offer an all USA T-shirt), we will look for (and find) the best and most relevant sustainable clothing and accessories in the Americas, from the tip of Canada to Tierra del Fuego. If you choose to only purchase USA products, we will have them for you; but you will also have other options to choose from. The choice will be yours and you’ll find it in our WebStore.
